My laptop that I do all my writing on, including updating my blog, has come down with a virus. I'm not sure how it happened, but it doesn't matter now. I'll be taking it to geek squad in the hopes they can fix it. Among it's other problems, it has lost the ability to connect to the internet, so that's going to make doing online diagnostics difficult. Websweeper tried to deal with it, but couldn't do the job.
Here's hoping everything turns out okay.
Oh Nate, I'm so sorry. Feels like an apendage is missing, doesn't it? Hopefully, you'll have your "third child" back and in your loving hands soon!

Oh!!!! And I can't imagine how you got THAT VIRUS! LOL (but not laughing at the fact you got one.
ReplyDeleteAlas, it is now languishing in the computer hospital (geek squad), and they say it may be three to five days till they can fix it. Sigh, I guess I'll just have to plot my writing in my head for a few days.

The really irritating part is that I just bought that swanky new laptop case for it, and I was going to show it off next writer's night out...instead it's first use was to take my laptop in for repairs.
